  • Mortality

    Your life expectancy (and that of your spouse/partner/financial dependant if applicable) affects the annuity rate. The older you are the higher the income you will receive

  • Annuity Options

    The options you choose from outset will affect your annuity income. Choosing more options can reduce your starting level of income

  • Gender

    The starting income is higher for a man than a woman. This is because, on average, women live longer
