In the Community

 

Canada Life takes its charity responsibilities seriously and wants to be as good a neighbour as possible within the communities where we operate. Our areas of charitable activity are Health, Financial Education and the Environment. Throughout the year, Canada Life regularly donates to charities that support these three charitable themes and is proud to be able to help many different causes and campaigns.

Employee Nominated Charities

Annually, Canada Life employees are asked to nominate the charities they would like to support. This year Canada Life Supports:

Herts Air Ambulance Cancer Research UK St Clare Hospice Make a Wish Foundation Garden House Hospice Hounds for Heroes

 

Partnerships

Canada Life has a strong partnership with Mount Grace, a school local to the Potters Bar Head Office. Canada Life employees dedicate many hours a year to the pupils of Mount Grace to aid them in their learning whilst at school and prepare them for the challenges after they leave for university or the world of work.

Giving
Canada Life actively supports Payroll Giving enabling our employees to make regular payments to charity directly from their pay every month. In 2010, Canada Life  was awarded the Gold Award for Payroll Giving.
