Terms and Conditions

By entering this prize draw (the “Draw”), all participants are deemed to have read and understood these terms and conditions and agree to be bound by them. The promoter of the Draw is the Group Insurance division of Canada Life Limited (“Canada Life”) based at 3 Rivergate, Temple Quay, Bristol, BS1 6ER.

No purchase is necessary in order to enter the Draw. Entry into the Draw is free and can only be made by obtaining a Group Life Assurance, Group Income Protection or Group Critical Illness quotation (“Quotation”) using the Canada Life Automated Self Service (CLASS) available at www.canadalife.co.uk/class. Please note that there is no guarantee that the contents of any entry submitted will remain private during internet transmission.
The Draw is open to employees of UK financial adviser firms only and participants must be aged 18 years or over. The Draw is not open to employees or staff of Canada Life or any of its group companies, or their family members.
Please note that only one entry per person is permitted regardless of the number of Quotations obtained by that person.
The opening date for entries to be received is 00.01 am on 12 March 2010. The closing date for entries to be received is 11.59 pm on 7 May 2010.
Entries submitted in the proper manner will be entered into the Draw. Please note that there is no guarantee that any entry submitted will be received.
Canada Life will not be responsible for entries that are lost, delayed, misdirected or incomplete.
There will be one prize and one prize winner (the “Winner”). The Winner will be drawn at random from the submitted entries within seven (7) working days of the closing date and the Winner will be notified by email or telephone within seven (7) working days of the Draw. Proof of identity of the Winner satisfactory to Canada Life may be required.
The Winner will receive a prize of a Samsung R730 17.3 inch laptop or equivalent.
The prize is non-transferable and no cash or other prize alternative will be offered. Canada Life is not responsible for the Winner’s inability to accept the prize.
By accepting the prize, the Winner agrees that Canada Life may use and publish the Winner’s name and town and/or county of residence in any media in connection with the Draw. The Winner’s name will be available on written request to Canada Life.
Please note that a record of the Winner shall be kept for a period of six (6) years from the date of the Draw in order to comply with FSA (Financial Services Authority) regulations.
If any provision of these terms and conditions is held invalid by any law, rule, order or regulation of any government, or by the final determination of any court of competent jurisdiction, such invalidity shall not affect the enforceability of any other provisions not held to be invalid.
The decision of Canada Life is final on all matters relating to the Draw and the terms and conditions and no correspondence will be entered into.
This promotion and these terms and conditions are governed by English Law.
