Early Intervention Service

Early Intervention Service

Day-One Absence Management at No Additional Cost

We offer all employers access to our Early Intervention Service (EIS) as part of our Group Income Protection product. Absent employees have the best chance of making a successful return to work if they have access to effective rehabilitation from day one of their absence.

What is the Early Intervention Service?

Our Early Intervention Service (EIS) offers day-one onward absence management at no additional cost. If an employee is absent, HR or line managers can call our EIS Helpline for immediate support and guidance.

The EIS Helpline is staffed by our in-house EIS Nurses, who are all qualified, registered medical professionals. If we believe early intervention could help, we will contact the absent employee to offer our support.

Once the employee has been contacted, the EIS Nurse will compile a report offering practical help and guidance for the employer, as well as support for a return to work plan if appropriate.

Key Features

  • No forms required – a quick phone call is all it takes
  • No time constraints – just call the helpline for immediate support
  • We organise consent – so the employer doesn’t have to
  • Nurse-led absence management – our in-house EIS Nurses manage the entire process

Where can I find out more?

Employers can start using the service at any time. Just call the EIS Helpline on 0117 916 4057 during normal office hours and our nurses will guide you through the process.
