Add the equity release qualification to your toolkit

In a post pension freedoms world, many customers are realising that the value in their property vastly exceeds that in their pensions, savings and investments, and recognise that tapping into that property wealth could be a sensible solution. In the first half of 2019, the total number of equity release customers served increased 6% year on year, with 2019 lending reaching 2.84bn by Q3.

Our workshops are free of charge to attend and have been designed for mortgage advisers who are looking to add the equity release qualification to their toolkit. We've teamed up with Fortica Ltd, and will help you to prepare for either the Certificate in Equity Release (CII) or the Certificate in Regulated Equity Release (CeRER) (LIBF) qualification.

Delegates will be provided with:

  • A day-long training course with Canada Life
  • Distance-learning modules to support exam preparation

The course will help to break down and review both the CII and LIBF syllabuses, and is designed to support you in achieving the qualification.

Book your place here.

These workshops will enable you to engage with the equity release sector and deliver better outcomes to your customer base. You will learn:

  • An introduction to equity release
  • Regulation
  • State benefits and taxation
  • Advice, applications and administration
  • Exam technique
  • How to apply your knowledge in the real world
  • Our Equity Release Exam Workshops are free to attend
  • The examination is not included in these Workshops. Any examination fees are payable by the delegate
  • Due to recent syllabus changes, we are still confirming the final agenda items
