Long Term Care Exam Workshop

Supporting good customer outcomes

Our Long Term Care Exam Workshops have been designed for the Long Term Care Insurance Exam. This is a standalone qualification to help you enhance your advice process.

Our workshops are free of charge to attend and have been designed to support experienced advisers who wish to provide more holistic financial advice for customers who may need additional support.

You’ll be provided with:

  • Three distance-learning modules
  • A day-long training course with Canada Life

The course will help to break down and review the syllabus, and is designed to support you to pass the CII CF8 exam.

Please note: These workshops are solely for advisers wishing to sit their CII CF8 exam. This exam is a standalone module, and will not meet the FCA requirements for advice in Long Term Care without being alongside another approved qualification such as the Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning, Diploma in Financial Planning and Certificate in Financial Planning or equivalents from another examining body.

  • Understanding of what Long Term Care is
  • Understanding the assessment process
  • Understanding how to engage with external support agencies
  • Understanding Long Term Care products
  • The workshops are a day-long workshop
  • Our Long Term Care Exam Workshops are free to attend
  • The exam is not included in the workshop
  • Attending our Long Term Care Exam Workshop does not mean you have passed your exam. You must book your exam separately, and all associated fees are payable by you.
  • Canada Life do not take any responsibility for advice given following attendance of these workshops.
