Lindsey Rix-Broom

Lindsey joined Canada Life as CEO in September 2021 to deliver the strategy set by the UK board. This includes a significant transformation programme, marking our ambition to become a major competitor in the retirement market, alongside our well-established wealth, insurance and asset management businesses.

Lindsey is a passionate advocate of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion. In particular, she’s keen to continue driving positive change for women in Financial Services. She was named in the Yahoo Finance’s 100 Women Executive Role Models 2022 and is also a member of the 30% Club.

Prior to joining Canada Life, from 2019, Lindsey served as CEO of UK Savings and Retirement at Aviva. Before this, she held a number of Managing Director roles in both the General Insurance and Life Insurance divisions.

Having graduated from Kings College London, Lindsey began her career in banking, where she worked for both Barclays and Santander in the Corporate Banking market, before moving to lead Santander’s Wealth Management business in 2013.
