Marcia is an independent non-executive director of The Canada Life Group (U.K.) Limited and Canada Life Limited, where she chairs the Board Risk Committee. She is a non-executive director and chair of the Risk Committee at Charles Stanley plc. She is a non-executive director and chair of the Audit Committee at Murray International Trust. She sits on the Board of CNP Assurances and is a member of Aviva’s Independent Governance Committee.
Marcia held a number of senior executive roles in Standard Life plc and has extensive experience in financial services. She has a strong background in strategic evaluation, operations, IT and transformation, risk and governance.
Marcia has an M.A (hons) from Edinburgh University and an MBA with distinction from the Open University.
