Technical Specialist: Tax and Estate Planning
John has over 35 years' experience working with advisers within the UK and Internationally to help them navigate the broader issues of retirement and estate planning.
Previously, John was Commercial Director at Fidelity International, responsible for the strategy and business plan for Fidelity Retirement Services and was responsible for overseeing the advice and running of the advisory business.
Prior to Fidelity, John worked at Legal and General as Product and Funds Director in the savings business. During his time at L&G, he was responsible for the circa £56bn in assets covering over £1 million clients in pensions, investments and International.
Having helped establish trust companies, spoken on pension, estate planning topics and the use of lifetime mortgages in planning, he brings a wealth of experience from a broad-ranging career.
John specialises in the areas of pensions, investments, estate planning and the platform market, with the aim of helping advisers to develop plans to achieve their client’s needs and objectives.
