WeCare

24/7 online GP, mental health support and virtual wellbeing

WeCare’s mental health services offer a wide range of support, including a 24/7 helpline when an employee needs in- the -moment help, structured mental health support via phone or video consultations for mild to moderate issues, and a parent consultation and child assessment if employees are worried about their child’s mental wellbeing.

Employees can also access myStrength, a mental wellbeing app, designed to help employees overcome life’s challenges.

24/7 Mental Health Helpline

Employees can access in-the-moment support from a qualified professional whenever they are feeling overwhelmed, anxious, or low—at any time, day or night. This service is particularly helpful for those who are unsure about the type of support they need, as well as for employees who are uncertain whether their symptoms are mild, moderate, or otherwise.

Bookable mental health consultations

Employees have access to structured mental health support via phone or video consultations for mild to moderate issues such as stress, anxiety, depression or bereavement. The number of sessions offered to an employee will be subject to an online clinical assessment*.

This service isn’t clinically appropriate for employees with chronic, complex, or long-term conditions, high-risk cases, or ADHD/ASD assessments. These types of conditions are better supported in person, or by specialist services able to provide longer-term psychological care. If their needs are more complex, the clinical team will signpost more suitable services for ongoing care via email.

*Up to a maximum of 10 sessions available per issue per year.

Parent Consultation and Child Mental Health Assessment

Employees can request a Parent Consultation and Child Assessment for children up to the age of 18. This includes a session with a qualified expert and a written report with advice on next steps to support their child.

Burnout prevention

Addressing burnout symptoms early is proven to be effective and can reduce employee absence. Our team of mental health practitioners can provide employees with coping mechanisms and stress reduction techniques to help prevent burnout. They’ll help employees recognise the signs of burnout and support them to take action in their day-to-day life.

Life events counselling

Our mental health practitioners can help employees face a wide variety of situations. From being involved in an accident, facing a divorce, becoming a blended family, facing an upcoming retirement or death of a loved one. Each case is approached confidentially and fully personalised by our expert team.
