How much does it cost?

The Personal Nurse Service is free of charge if you make a critical illness or terminal illness claim.

This service is available to you, your partner (if you have a joint life policy) and your immediate family. Immediate family includes your spouse, partner, parents, siblings or children under 21, (or under 22 if in full time education), who are living with you.

How do I access the service?

We’ll tell you how to access this service if you make a critical illness or terminal illness claim.

How long can I use the service?

We won’t rush you. You decide how often and for how long you need support. You can even use the service once you’ve returned to work or recovered from your condition.

Our Personal Nurse Service provides practical and emotional support over the phone with the same qualified nurse, as often and as long as you need it. If your personal nurse thinks alternative treatments might be available, they can also arrange for a second opinion on your diagnosis and treatment options.

Who can use the service?

This service is available if you make a critical illness claim with a Life plus Critical Illness policy. It’s also available if you make a terminal illness claim with a Life Insurance policy.
