WeCare for your members
We’re committed to delivering a member experience with wellbeing at its heart
Coming 1st May 2026, we’re getting WeCare ready for all eligible deferred and in-payment members with schemes in buy-out.
We put your members first
We believe a first‑class member experience should go beyond financial security. With a track record of supporting 3.5 million customers across the UK, we help your members look after their total wellbeing as they transition into and through retirement.
Introducing WeCare
WeCare is our comprehensive virtual wellbeing service, designed to support your members and their immediate families through every stage of life. When work ends, certain benefits fall away. WeCare helps to bridge the gap, replacing some elements of workplace wellbeing while introducing new forms of support.
It’s free to use, but private prescription charges apply if issued by a GP. Some services have set hours. WeCare will be available to deferred and in‑payment members of schemes in buy‑out. Access extends to immediate family, and if a member passes away, their family can continue to use the service.1
What your members can access
Second medical opinion from a network of 50,000 consultants worldwide
Mental health support, including bereavement and life events counselling
Personalised get-fit programmes and healthy diet support
Financial and legal guidance, including on budgeting, debt management and probate
…and more.
How WeCare works
Members can access WeCare through a dedicated app, available to download from the App Store or Google Play, or by visiting the WeCare website on any device. For those who prefer, services are also available by phone.
Support is available for those who need documents in alternative formats such as Braille, large print, or audio files. Assistance is also provided for those who have difficulties communicating over the phone via Relay UK.

Why WeCare benefits your members
As the UK’s age profile shifts decisively upward, the story of retirement is changing.3,4,5 Retirees will require income and support for longer, and expect a better quality of service from those providing their pensions.
Our flagship research into longer lives, Life100+, shows that many retirees who carry on working do so for purpose and wellbeing rather than income.6 Importantly, we also found that health and care move up the agenda with age.7
This is why a truly member‑first de‑risking process safeguards members’ wellbeing in the round, focusing efforts beyond solely financial considerations. WeCare reflects these insights.
Within buy‑out, embedded wellbeing services are now a key differentiator, providing members with consistent, comprehensive support from day one.
