Andy Baker

Andy has recently been appointed Chief Internal Auditor, providing assurance to the Board of Directors on the effectiveness of governance, risk management and the control environment in order to support the effective and sustainable delivery of Canada Life’s strategy.  

Before joining Canada Life, Andy has held numerous leadership roles with financial services providers, most recently as Head of Internal Audit at Bank of Ireland UK and Group Audit Director for BGL Group. 

He is a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) and holds a BA (Hons) in Banking and Finance from the University of Wales (Bangor).
