Andy Watson

Andy is an independent non-executive director of Canada Life Limited and Canada Life UK Holdings Limited, where he chairs the Boards, the Boards’ Nominations Committees and the Boards’ HR Committees. He is also  a non-executive director at Brathay Trust.

Andy previously held executive positions at Ageas UK, HSBC Insurance, RBS Insurance, Cooperative Insurance and Direct Line. Andy is a highly experienced professional with a successful track record as a senior executive in the financial services industry operating in highly regulated markets. He is an experienced CEO, Executive and Board member who has operated successfully within a variety of market leading, regulated companies. He brings board level experience gained in both intermediated and direct to consumer channels.

Mr Watson is a graduate of Oxford University and a Fellow of the Institute of Actuaries.
