Group Income Protection

Group Income Protection provides a replacement income if an employee is unable to work because of long-term illness or injury.

At Canada Life, we approach Group Income Protection differently to other insurers. For us, it’s not just about paying claims – it’s about working in partnership with our customers. As well as the financial support, we provide employers with access to market-leading rehabilitation services from the earliest stages of absence to help employees return to work.

We work together with employers to help them get the most out of their policy. Whether it’s rehabilitating an employee recovering from cancer or helping an employer manage their short-term absence more effectively, you’ll get more than just a financial benefit with us. We also include a range of support services at no additional cost to further bolster an employer’s benefits package.

  • Cover is available for groups of two or more employees
  • Flexible levels of cover are available up to 75% of the income to be covered
  • Cover for pension and National Insurance Contributions
  • Generous free cover levels and one-time underwriting
  • Day-one access to our Early Intervention Service, which helps employers to manage workplace absence
  • Access to our in-house rehabilitation and claims experts, all employed by Canada Life
