- Canada Life Group Insurance launches a free automatic enrolment (AE) video to help advisers differentiate their offering from AE providers and to educate clients about the potential for other benefits.
- Advisers can customise the video, at no cost, with their branding and contact information, by approaching Canada Life Group Insurance.
- Starting from the 1st January 2016, 1.8 million employers will need to go through automatic enrolment and 7 out of 10 say they will ask a business adviser for help.
- The Perfect Benefit Partner to AE - Canada Life’s online solution Simply CLASS Group Life Assurance is aimed at smaller businesses going through automatic enrolment costing on average just £4 a month per employee.
Canada Life Group Insurance has today launched an automatic enrolment (AE) video to help advisers who are seeking new business and want to promote their services and advice. This follows the launch of a suite of materials on 17th November 2015 – designed to help advisers make the most of the opportunities presented by AE – which advisers seeking new corporate clients could customise with their branding.
The video is targeted at smaller employers that are due to set up their workplace pensions. Advisers can use this video to explain what AE is to their corporate clients, how the organisation can become compliant and the support offered by the adviser firm. The video also provides advisers with an opportunity to differentiate their offering by extending the AE pension discussion into additional benefits, and provides clear reasons why group life, specifically, could be a differentiator in the war for talent (once everyone has a workplace pension).
Free Automatic Enrolment video is easy to receive
Canada Life will brand the video with an advisers company’s name, contact details and logo at no cost. Advisers can simply email Canada Life with their contact details and company name and the insurer will deliver a customised automatic enrolment video.
Advisers can then place this on their websites, send to prospects or promote themselves online. The aim is to provide a continuity of marketing materials from hard copy folders and flyers, a pop up stand and video which all look and feel professional and consistent as well as personalised.
Dan Crook, Sales Director at Canada Life Group Insurance, stated:
“The pensions market is soon to be flooded by employers who have never sought professional help before. This surge of new business entering the market in 2016 represents a huge opportunity for advisers who operate in the Employee Benefits space. At Canada Life, we want to be viewed as the provider that’s doing the most to support advisers as they navigate their way through this unchartered territory. We’ll do this by providing them with the tools they need to educate employers about their new duties. We hope a conversation around cost effective Group Life benefits is a natural partner to the compulsory pensions work.”
Paul Avis, marketing Director at Canada Life Group Insurance, added:
“Our aim is always to make life as simple as possible for advisers and to help them develop their business and by providing this level of marketing and promotional support to them we believe that we can genuinely grow the group risk market.
Smaller advisers specifically may not have marketing departments or the budget to promote themselves against larger AE providers. In effect we have become an outsourced marketing department for any adviser seeking new corporate clients who wants to use AE as a catalyst for business growth. We definitely have the materials and now are actively seeking ambitious advisers to help us maximise the once in a career AE opportunity for the group risk market.”
Adviser’s Personalised Marketing Tools
The video has been created in combination with Canada Life’s ‘3-Step Guide to Automatic Enrolment’. This dedicated adviser webpage includes co-branded materials and tools to support advisers when talking to their clients including adviser to client letter templates, myth busting questions and answers, workplace pensions infographics, automatic enrolment flyers and roller banners to use at exhibitions.
Huge Opportunity for Advisers to Grow Business
The majority of employers (57% ) say they would consider offering further employee benefits at the same time as workplace pensions.
