Canada Life announces additional Lead Generation workshops

Canada Life Home Finance has announced that it will be running an additional set of its popular Lead Generation workshops, starting in October. The workshops are part of Canada Life’s 2019 events programme, which aims to help qualified advisers become experts in later-life lending.

The workshops feature information and guidance on how to make the most of your firm’s equity release business and support growing consumer demand for home finance products. In the first half of 2019, £1.85 billion of equity was released.

The workshops, which are free of charge to attend, are a return of sessions run by Canada Life earlier in the year. Over 100 advisers attended the first set of Lead Generation events in April and May, with 99% rating the workshop’s content as excellent. 100% of attendees said they would recommend the workshop to a colleague.

Taking place on 2nd October and 14th November in London, the Lead Generation workshops are the sixth set of events in Canada Life’s 2019 adviser training programme. They will run alongside a second round of Canada Life’s popular ‘Setting the Standard’ best practice guidance sessions.

Alice Watson, head of marketing and communications at Canada Life Home Finance, said:

“We’re committed to supporting the growth of the home finance market by ensuring that consumers have access to the best professional advice. Our workshop series is designed not only to ensure that more advisers are qualified to offer the product, but to also help advisers make the most of their qualification.
