Canada Life has appointed Andy Colvin into a new role as Change Delivery Director. Andy reports into Craig Fazzini-Jones and will be responsible for helping complete the company’s major transformation programme.
Canada Life embarked on its transformation programme three years ago with the ambition to become a major competitor in the retirement market combining the core strengths of its well-established wealth, insurance and asset management businesses. Through acquisition and significant investment the business is pushing forward with its growth objectives.
Andy joins from EY where he recently led their Life & Pensions insurance technology transformation business.

Andy Colvin Biography
Andy has been a director in EY’s insurance technology transformation business for the past three years. In this role, he has led and shaped the delivery of large-scale transformation programmes and also been heavily involved in advising clients on industry lessons learned on large scale transformation programmes.
Prior to that, Andy was Chief Information Officer for Foresters Financial where he led the transformation of that business and the integration of the Children’s Mutual. Other key roles in his career include Client Director at Capita and Managing Director, Life & Pensions at Vertex Financial Services.
Before stints at EDS, Troika and Bacon & Woodrow, Andy also spent nine years at Legal & General earlier in his career.
Andy has particular expertise in Life & Pensions legacy migration programmes, having worked on several migration strategies and broader transformation programmes, including setting them up for success.
