Canada Life International (CLI) has been awarded an overall five star rating by AKG for a seventeenth consecutive year, making it the only offshore insurer to have maintained the rating over that time. Following an analysis by AKG Financial Analytics, the rating reflects the assessment of various aspects such as Financial Strength, Image & Strategy, and Business Performance for the businesses in the Isle of Man and Dublin (Canada Life International, CLI Institutional and Canada Life International Assurance Ireland respectively).
In awarding the rating, AKG noted the positive effects of CLI’s strategic product and administrative changes, improvements to its online capabilities, and the strong support of its parent company, Great West Lifeco, one of the largest life companies in the world with some £807 billion* in assets under management.
