Our Early Intervention Service provides support and guidance during the early stages of absence to help support a return to work. The team can also provide guidance on reasonable adjustments and the right time to make a claim.
Our Second Medical Opinion service provides access to over 50,000 leading consultants worldwide. They offer expert second opinions on diagnoses and treatments for almost any condition, including cancer. A leading consultant will review an employee’s medical records and provide an expert second opinion on their diagnosis and treatment.
How it works
Receiving a cancer diagnosis can come as a shock. The impact it can have on someone’s mental health can sometimes be side-lined while they deal with their illness and treatment. WeCare provides up to 10 sessions with our team of psychologists, psychotherapists and counsellors, who can support with a wide range of mental health conditions.

Our Personal Nurse Service gives your employees and their immediate family members long-term practical and emotional support over the phone with the same qualified nurse, for as long as it’s needed. The service is free for every employee making a critical illness claim, whether it’s accepted or not.

When an employee is ready to return to work following a claim, a rehabilitation consultant will contact them to provide support. They’ll work with the employee and the employer to develop a personalised, phased return to work plan. Then they'll provide the on-going support needed to successfully complete the plan.
